One Sunday a month Bishopsgate Institute’s Orchestra-in-Residence, the London Musical Theatre Orchestra, organises a gathering of musicians and singers to rehearse the music from an entire musical.

Over 100 musicians and singers are selected from the Sitz members, with the orchestra and singers rehearsing separately throughout the day, before coming together in the evening to run the show from start to finish. The event takes place with no audience present in the beautiful surroundings of our Grade II* listed Great Hall.

Sitzes are strictly private events, and you must be 18 or over to attend. To take part, you need to become a member, but it's completely free to sign up.
